John Stephenson - CEO WA Cricket

John Stephenson has a strong background in cricket, both as a player and an administrator, having most recently been Chief Executive of Essex County Cricket Club in the UK.

During his three years at the helm of Essex, the Club was successful in securing a Women’s Tier One team and developing a clear vision and master plan for the County’s iconic cricket ground in Chelmsford.

The former first-class cricketer, who played one Test Match for England in 1989, spent 17 years at the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) at Lord’s Cricket Ground in several roles, including elite cricket, membership, facilities, the ground redevelopment and community programs, prior to becoming the General Manager of London Spirit Men’s and Women’s teams.
