To reach The Meeting Place

enter via the Wellington street end of the William Street Mall

            or go directly from the Perth Train station

then follow the signs to the Meeting Place

Bring a cushion and hat


On arrival at The Meeting Place you will be given a breakfast box, provided by local traders at Yagan Square, which will include two savoury and one sweet item.

You will also receive a bottle of water & piece of fruit.

Tea and coffee can be purchased from traders in The Market Hall

Local beekeepers and Rotarians Tristan and Blaine Campbell from Honey I’m Home, are pleased to offer a free gift of a small Honey jar to guests, to celebrate the opening of Yagan Square and their shop in the Market Hall.

 


At 7.30 am Dr Richard Walley OAM will share his knowledge of Yagan Square and stories from the Wadjuk people.

Bruce Dufty (Chair, Aboriginal Reference Group, Rotary District 9455) and District Governor Lindsay Dry will also address attendees.

Following the speeches there will be optional group tours of Yagan Square led by Aboriginal people.
